Women's Self-Defense Course
This empowering self-defense course is designed specifically for women, focusing on building confidence, awareness, and practical skills to protect oneself in any situation. Through a combination of physical techniques, mental preparedness, and situational awareness training, participants will learn how to effectively defend themselves against potential threats.
The course covers essential topics such as:
- Situational Awareness: Learn how to recognize and avoid dangerous situations before they escalate.
- Verbal Defense: Develop strategies to defuse situations and set boundaries using assertive communication.
- Physical Techniques: Practice easy-to-remember, effective self-defense moves, including strikes, kicks and how to use your body to your advantage.
- Defensive Mindset: Strengthen mental resilience and confidence to react calmly and decisively in stressful situations.
- Red Flags in Abusive Relationships: Awareness and Prevention: Learn to identify tactics such as gaslighting, guilt-tripping, and excessive control disguised as "love."
- Explore how abusers gain and maintain control in relationships through intimidation, isolation, and other manipulative behaviors.
Taught by experienced instructors in a supportive, non-intimidating environment, the course is open to women of all fitness levels age 12+
Please wear comfortable clothing you can move around in.
We will be utilizing our punching bags and boxing gloves will be provided to borrow.
